Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: April 20, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before booking a tour with Ciao and Cheers LLC ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or paying a deposit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and booking a tour, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Payments and Cancellation Policy

Because our boutique tours are small-group and highly curated, all payments are subject to the following strict schedule:

  • Deposit: A 10% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your spot.

  • Balance: The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the Tour start date.

  • Refund Schedule: * 61+ days prior: 100% refund of monies paid (excluding the 10% non-refundable deposit).

    • 31–60 days prior: 50% refund of total tour cost.

    • 30 days or less: 0% refund.

  • No Chargebacks: By booking, you acknowledge this refund schedule and agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your credit card issuer for cancellations that fall outside of these terms.

3. Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)

We highly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance. This is the only way to protect your investment in the event of late-stage cancellations due to medical emergencies, family loss, or other unforeseen circumstances.

4. Liability and Risks

  • Physical Requirements: Participation in our tours requires a certain level of physical fitness (e.g., walking on uneven cobblestones). Ciao and Cheers LLC is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from the physical demands of the trip or the terrain of the destinations.

  • Limitation of Liability: Liability for any claims related to the tour is limited strictly to the assets of Ciao and Cheers LLC. In no event shall the Company or its members be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

  • Third-Party Vendors: We act as a coordinator for local experiences. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or bankruptcy of third-party vendors such as airlines, hotels, or transport companies.

5. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)

Ciao and Cheers LLC is not liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is a result of "Acts of God" (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other natural disasters), strikes, war, pandemic, government sanctions, or any other event beyond our reasonable control.

6. Itinerary Accuracy and Changes

While we strive for perfection, travel involves variables (such as ferry schedules in Cinque Terre or museum hours in Pienza). We reserve the right to modify itineraries, hotels, or transportation to a comparable or superior standard to ensure the best experience for the group.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including itineraries, photography, and text, is the property of Ciao and Cheers LLC. You may not copy or use our travel designs for commercial purposes without express written permission.

8. User Conduct and Information

The information on this website is for general informational purposes only. You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes. Any reliance you place on the information provided on this website is strictly at your own risk.

9. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to external sites (like insurance providers). We have no control over the content or availability of those sites and do not officially endorse them.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes arising from these terms or our tours shall be resolved in the courts of Maryland.
